“Pamela Thompson is a Fashion Designer from New York who has worked for some of the most notable and avant-garde fashion design houses in the US, throughout her 18-year-career. Her recent move to Chicago and the birth of her daughter Lily inspired the rediscovery of her love of doll clothes,” says Trendland, one of our new favourite sources of inspiration. Designer Pamela who has worked with Anna Sui and Betsey Johnson launched an online shop especially for Barbie where you are able to buy vintage clothing for your leggy doll. The store’s name is The Tiny Frock Shop.

Trendland calls this online destination “A place where pre-loved Barbie clothing and accessories are presented as Vogue worthy but sold at milk money prices.” But don’t think this mini-me shop is one-dimensional! Barbie can find trend info, read the shop’s blog and see lots of outfit inspiration – even behind the scenes shots – while searching for that diamond in the rough.
